Phone Charging for Your Customers

Keep Your GuestsCharged and Connected.

Voltage Nexus places smart charging kiosks in restaurants, bars, gyms, hotels and event spaces. There is no purchase cost and no monthly hosting fee for the venue — you provide the space and electricity, and customers pay for the battery rentals.

Free To Host
No kiosk purchase cost and no monthly hosting fee for the venue. Guests pay for their own rentals.
Guests Can Stay Longer
A low battery doesn’t have to cut a visit short.
You Provide Space And Power
A suitable spot and a standard outlet — hosting transfers no kiosk ownership.

Hosting a kiosk does not transfer kiosk ownership to the venue.

The offer

What hosting a kiosk actually involves

No purchase cost, no monthly hosting fee

Hosting a Voltage Nexus kiosk costs the venue nothing to buy and nothing per month.

You provide space and power

A suitable spot for the kiosk and a standard electrical outlet are what we need from you.

Customers pay for rentals

Guests pay for the battery they rent. There is nothing for your staff to sell or ring up.

Hosting is not ownership

The kiosk stays owned by Voltage Nexus or its kiosk owner. Hosting transfers no ownership to the venue.

Placement is subject to review, kiosk availability and a written agreement. Voltage Nexus does not guarantee any outcome, revenue or result from hosting a kiosk.

How it works

Scan. Rent. Charge. Return.

Guests complete rental checkout and payment on their phones, then collect and return the battery themselves.

  1. A guest holding up a phone camera to scan the QR code on a Voltage Nexus kiosk at a coffee shop counter.
    Step 1

    Scan the kiosk QR.

Your guest scans the code on the kiosk with their phone camera. No app download.

  2. A guest taking a released portable battery out of a lit slot on a Voltage Nexus kiosk.
    Step 2

Complete checkout and collect a battery.

They pay for the rental on their phone and a charged battery is released from the kiosk.

  3. A seated guest at a cafe table charging her phone from a Voltage Nexus portable battery.
    Step 3

    Charge while enjoying the venue.

The battery goes with them — they stay at the table, the bar or the treadmill.

  4. A guest sliding a portable battery back into an open slot on a Voltage Nexus kiosk.
    Step 4

Return to a participating Voltage Nexus kiosk.

The battery is returned to an open slot at a participating kiosk.

Why venues host

More reasons to visit. More reasons to stay.

  • Give guests another reason to stay

A low battery doesn’t have to cut a visit short. Guests can recharge while continuing to enjoy your venue.

  • Welcome charging customers

A place to rent or return a charger can give nearby visitors a practical reason to stop in.

  • Encourage return visits

Give guests a convenient amenity they can remember when choosing where to go next.

  • More opportunity to browse and order

Convenient charging lets guests keep shopping, dining, or enjoying your venue while their phone powers up.

  • Keep guests mobile

Guests keep their phones with them and can move around while they charge.

  • Simple for your team

Guests handle rental checkout, payment, battery collection, and returns themselves.

These are reasons venues consider hosting, not guaranteed outcomes. Voltage Nexus does not promise any increase in traffic, sales or revenue.

For brands and organizations

Strategic Partnerships

Brands and organizations work with us on where charging shows up and what appears on the kiosk screen. If you would like to talk about charging placements or an advertising collaboration, start a conversation.

Separate from kiosk ownership. Owning and deploying kiosks is covered on the partner page.

Want to own the kiosks?

Infrastructure Partners buy and deploy their own Voltage Nexus kiosks and participate in the revenue those kiosks generate.

Revenue depends on kiosk placement, customer usage, and advertising activity. Voltage Nexus does not guarantee income or returns.
